Savings Bonds
I have lost about 10 savings bonds going back (starting) in 1954. I don’t have any record of how much each one is worth. I am assuming that since my social security number is listed on each bond, there is a record somewhere of these bonds. I’ve gone to banks for info on how to reclaim the bonds, etc. No one has been able to assist me. Can you help?? I enjoy your visits on WGN radio often. Thank you!!

I think the Savings Bond Calculator at TreasuryDirect.gov will locate them and give your value, assuming you still have the paper bonds. Try it and let me know how it works out!
