Social Security benefits

By Terry Savage on September 16, 2025 | Social Security

If I turn 62 and want to claim my husband’s social Security benefits (he was the higher earner) is there any financial benefit for me to wait until 65 or older to claim his? Would my share of his benefits increase if I wait, or is it a set amount no matter when I start claiming it? He is already claiming his benefits.
