Generally, if you’re approved for Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) benefits, you’ll receive Medicare — once you’re age 65. Check with Medicare to make sure she is covered. IF she is under age 65, and not covered, make sure that your employer coverage will still cover her. If not, she would have to go to the Obamacare (Healthcare.gov) website to get individual coverage.
