Student loan
Hi Terry, I enjoy your segments on WGN. My question is if I have already paid off my consolidated student loans do I qualify for any type of loan forgiveness? Worked at Misericordia home here in Chicago for 30 years .

Sorry, bad news. Public Service Loan Forgiveness only forgives outstanding balances if you qualify with 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
But they won’t send you money if you already paid off your loans.
I guess your real reward is that you contributed so much to the lives of people who really needed your skills and talents. Thank you for that!
