Student Loans Public Service relief

By Terry Savage on June 03, 2023 | College Savings / Student Loans

I have heard you talk about student loans on WGN for a long time. I have been a teacher for 8 years. I worked for the Chicago Public Schools as a substitute teacher for the first three years after graduating with my teaching degree. I worked two years as a full-time teacher with CPS then moved to a school within the Archdiocese of Chicago. I have been making payments on my loans since I graduated but not Income-driven payments. Can I apply for Public Service Loan forgiveness? My loan balance is low, under 10,000, but so is my income.
