Treasury Direct and the transfer of marketable securities
I am seeking to sell some 30 year treasury bonds in my TreasuryDirect account. I followed the procedures outlined in the web-site but am unable to get any information from the Fiscal office regarding the timing of the transfer or if they even received my request. It is supposed to take about 13 weeks and that much time has elapsed.

Can you please respond to the email you receive saying “your question has been answered” and give me the name on the TD account, and your email and phone number. And some details about which bonds you were trying to sell. I can pass this info on to Treasury for you and I’m sure you’ll get a call. It’s the one office of govt where I have good friends!
