Unemployment Fraud
My employer received a letter from the IL Dept. of Employment Security stating that I have filed for unemployment. This is a fraudulent claim filed under my maiden name with my SSN. The employer has faxed documents back that this is fraud, what do I do, personally to resolve this issue. I was a victim of identity theft in 2015.

Be sure to take “screen shots” of the reports you make so you can prove your attempts to report this fraud. That will be important next year when you receive a 1099 form for benefits you did not receive!!
