Will IL unemployment Extended Benefits continue after Sept. 4?

Hi Terry,

I’ve exhaustively read the IDES website on their policy for Extended Benefits (EB). Right now, IL is triggered “on” for EB and once the pandemic relief assistance expires on Sept. 4, I would be eligible for EB. However, I’ve read commentary (from non-IDES official guidance) that unless the Federal government fully funds EB for IL, EB will not be available after Sept 4 and that right now, IL is not expected to receive full funding from the federal government so will turn EB “off” after Sept. 4. Do you have any clarity on this? Thanks so much!
