your recommendations for my son re: pre-marriage & $$? We are pretty well off, he has no debt, & his indended has a lot of student loans & is still in school.

Terry Says:  My best recommendation is to buy him a copy of The New Love Deal –(click on the link to go to Amazon).  It’s a book I wrote two years ago with two great women, a divorce court judge and a divorce attorney.   It explains what each needs to know, how to have a loving talk about money and make plans so money fights don’t destroy a marriage!  It’s not unromantic — we hope all parents will give this to their adult children before marriage!
