The ONLY place I recommend is the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. You can call them at 800-388-2227 and be connected to the nearest local office. You can meet in person or on the phone. They will help you through this — whether with just advice, a debt program, or a bankruptcy referral. And you can trust them!
