Medicare Plan F vs G
I currently have Medicare Plan F. My supplement is $513 per month. Would it be advisable to switch to Plan G for a lower monthly supplement? I’m also getting hit with IRMAA because my husband is still working (we’re both 75), and he has insurance with his company He does not take Part B yet.

May I ask why you aren’t on your husband’s insurance?? Strikes me that would be less expensive than paying Medicare Part B and D premiums with IRMAA.
The only difference between the two plans is that Plan F pays the deductible, currently $283 for the year. But at this stage of life, you may not qualify for Plan G, or may pay a higher monthly premium because of your age or health. Investigate the true costs of this supplement before switching.
