Consolidating CC debt
HI! We have ~60,000 in credit card debit and would like to pay it down. I have the phone number on your website to call but also am wondering about Credit Karma. We have Credit Karma from Intuit for alerts on our credit scores, etc. and now are getting emails from them that we can utilize the links to help consolidate the debt. The emails look legit, but is this a way to help us to pay this albatross down?

No, that is NOT the way to go! Those are for-profit companies, buying info from Credit Karma.
Please contact the National Foundation for Credit Counseling at 800-388-2227. That will connect you to the local non-profit member organization. You can trust their advice.
