If I’ve underestimated my income and received an excessive subsidy for ACA must I repay for 2020? I’ve read that under the 2021 American Rescue Plan repayment for the excess subsidy is not required. I would appreciate your confirmation of this. Thank you!

Yes, that was a recent change. Those penalties are being waived. Have you had a written request to repay some of this subsidy? If so, it must have been sent out earlier this year before the American Rescue Plan. Contact them and see what they say, if there’s a number or address on the request. But slow your heartrate — you’re correct! No repayment necessary.
