SSA

I’m 67 and will probably work fulltime until 73 or so. I plan to start SS at age 70 which will end up being about $5K/month or so. My wife past away 3 years ago and wondering if I can collect any portion of her SS? Friend who are collecting state I can’t as mine is so much larger than hers. I really don’t know what her ending balance is but the most she make yearly was about $15K. I currently make $130K+. Look forward to your feedback.

No! You get the higher of your benefit or hers. Glad you are waiting until 70 to collect the maximum.
