is the annual credit report site safe? My identity was stolen in 2001.I am reluctant to use the internet.is ther a chance my info could be compromised?Thank you

Yes, it is SAFE and the only way to deal with your credit report is online.
If you go through www.AnnualCreditReport.com, it will direct you to each of the three bureaus, where you can get your credit report completely free.
While you’re there, ask to put a FREEZE on your credit report if you don’t think you’ll be applying for credit soon. That will keep you safer.
