Charging for credit card use
Can/ should businesses be charging the consumer their charge amt on debit/ credit cards ?

Many businesses increase the price or put on a surcharge to cover the credit card “exchange fees” they are charged by the card associations. Or conversely, they may offer a discount for “cash or check.” This is perfectly legal. Card fees typically cost about 3% of the amount charged.
