Credit card for daughter
If I add my daughter as a authorized user on my credit card to increase her credit score, will that have any effect on my credit score?

Only if she doesn’t pay on time!! Better yet, get her a “secured card” — a card with a line of credit equal to a deposit you make in a savings account at the issuing bank.
