Debt: option settlements on credit report
hello, like many I have lost my job permanently. While looking for a new one and paying bills. I have had to file for two settlements with CC. How negative is this on Credit Report? Will finding a job , become that much harder for me since many Company’s do look at a persons Credit Reports when making decisions on new employee’s ?

There’s no doubt it’s a negative, but YOU’RE NOT ALONE! I wouldn’t stress over this, although prospective employers do pull credit reports frequently, but given the circumstances now it should not make a huge difference. We’re all in this together!
