TS: Is there a person/firm that will review my income and expenditures and suggest ways to save money on a monthly basis? (Review monthly bank statements and monthly Visa statement) More credibility/accountability if suggestions come from 3rd party person and more objective view on how we can save money. Absolutely, you can get free and independent advice — over the phone or in person — at the nearest local agency of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling — 800-388-2227.
Or I highly recommend Judy Lawrence’s book — The Budget Kit available on Amazon. It’s not only an organizer, but a good guide to managing your spending.
