problem – free credit report
My free credit report from Transunion arrived in an opened envelope. I have freezes in effect for all three credit companies. Please recommend any additional steps I need to take. Thank you.

Why on earth would you ask for your credit report by MAIL?? It should come up online and you can print it out!
Once you’ve created a freeze no one can open NEW credit in your name. But watch closely for unauthorized charges on your existing cards. And make sure you check in with the property tax assessors office to make sure no one tried to change title to your home.
