Stop credit cards

By Terry Savage on September 07, 2020 | Credit/Debt

I have credit cards like Sears that I want the company to get rid of. Is there a company that I can go to and get rid of them?

Terry Says

Just cut up the cards and don’t use them again! YOu can always contact the company or card issuer to cancel the card. But if you don’t use it and cut it up, there is no consequence — unless you are paying an annual fee. In that case, do contact the company.
Keep one of your oldest cards even if not using it because length of credit history impacts your credit score.
